Lead Dental Nurse

Lauren qualified as a dental nurse in 2010 and has experience working in a variety of dental environments such as; community hospitals, HMP Ranby, carehomes aswell as NHS and Private practices.
She thoroughly enjoys getting to know patients and puts them at ease with her calming chairside manner.
Lauren has completed further qualifications in Implant nursing, this type of dentistry is what she loves to be a part of the most.
She is also currently working her way towards a qualification in dental radiography.
Being our lead dental nurse, Lauren is passionate about making Beighton Dental Care an amazing practice to work at and an amazing place for patients to visit.
She really enjoys training the two apprentices we have, helping them become great dental nurses.
Outside of work Lauren enjoys excercising, spending time with her husband and two yoing boys and cruising around the Mediterranean.

Being a very nervous person with a dental phobia I was very apprehensive on my first visit to Beighton Dental Care. My Dentist was called Ali and he was fantastic and made me feel relaxed. I pre warned him how nervous I was and he took everything at my pace. The staff from the receptionist to Alis assistant were friendly and reassuring. I would 100% recommend this practice if like me you are petrified of Dentist.

I had a great experience with my recent dental hygiene appointment. The service was excellent, and the pricing was fair. The receptionist was friendly and flexible, and the cleaning was painless. The TV on the ceiling helped me stay calm, and I received helpful advice on maintaining my retainers. The feeling of cleanliness afterward was amazing. I get my hygiene done here once a year, and I highly recommend it!

Lovely team !. My first visit starting with Louise at reception So helpful and will acommodate your dental queries straight away and friendly.I had to have an emergency extraction today which being a very nervous paitent Ali and Megan took there time calmed my anxiety from the start as talked to me through every step , gave me confidece because they were so understanding which made me feel at ease. Megan is lovely took care of me while Ali was very professional but gentle and did the procedure pain free!. Which I have to say !..that's why i have given this dentist 5 stars and would visit again and would recommend .

Dr Elaine is simply the most caring and gentle dentist I have ever seen. She's highly professional, kind and personable. She has corrected poor work from a local dentist all of which was pain free and of high quality. Back in January for a check up. Not often do people look forward to going to the dentist but you feel so at ease here it's hard not to.Just took my son to see Dr Ali Shoro with my 9 year old son who has Autism both the Dr and the dental nurse were great with him. 22/05/24

Had to have a back tooth extracted at Beighton dental care, I was really nervous as I’d had a bad experience at a different dental surgery years ago. When I wasn’t given enough anaesthetic, it was really painful.I shouldn’t have worried as Alli the dentist, put me at ease straight away, he was very professional and reassured me that all would be well. And it was, he gave me enough anaesthetic that I didn’t feel any pain at all. His assistant Megan was also a very nice and calming influence.I would highly recommend Beighton dental care.Amanda

Beighton Dental Care are absolutely fantastic. I came to them in 2022 to finally pull the trigger on getting my teeth straightened. It has been a really simple process in terms of steps from Day 1 to today, 20 December 2023, the day I had my final mouth structure scanned for my long term retainer. Wahey! I did it!Something I really appreciated throughout was how Dr Amit always carefully explained exactly what he's going to do in every procedure - and is always very clear in his instructions on what I should be doing to make sure I have the best experience and get the best results. He makes you feel at ease throughout. You're the best Dr Amit, thank you!Thank you so much also to the whole team (big shout out to Gaby in particular) for your friendly service and making the entire process really easy. In the past I've allowed my anxiety to talk me out of attending the dentist but having decided to take the plunge I chose your surgery. On arrival was greeted by a very pleasant and professional assistant who proceded to offer me a drink of water. The dentist called me through and as I stood my walking stick fell on the floor which she quickly retrieved for me.
